Olivia Gentile earned a B.A. from Harvard and an M.F.A. from Columbia. She was an award-winning newspaper reporter in Vermont and Connecticut and now lives in New York City with her husband, the comedian and writer Andy Borowitz, and their young daughter. Life List, her first book, was published by Bloomsbury USA in 2009, sold through three hardcover printings, and is now out in paperback. She has also written for The Los Angeles Times, The Boston Globe, Scientific American, The Chicago Tribune, The Christian Science Monitor, Sierra, The Hartford Courant, and other publications. She was a fellow at the MacDowell Colony in 2006.
